COACHES

Carter is a native of Olathe, Kansas and has been part of LTD since it began in 2001. Carter played collegiately at Wichita State before transferring to finish his career at Cleveland State where he played for legendary coach Rollie Massimino. Carter went on to play professional basketball in the several countries. His first experience was in the International Basketball Association with LTD Founder, Brad Mann. Carter is great with kids and loves to see kids reach their full potential on the court, but also in their relationship with Christ.

Curtis Barnes is a native of Grandview, Missouri and has been with LTD since it began in 2001. He played collegiately at the University of Missouri-KC (NCAA I). He also played for the LTD Men’s Exhibition team for 5 years before retiring to focus on coaching. Curtis has a vast knowledge of the game and a unique way of helping young athletes understand the game and the potential they possess.

Chris joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Spring of 2023. He is a native of Kansas City, Missouri that played basketball at both Ruskin High School and Raymore-Peculiar High School. Chris has been coaching for over 5 years at various levels and he enjoys helping players develop athletically and spiritually. He enjoys seeing kids grow in their skills and character. He wants to see every player be successful on and off the court.

Kris joined the LTD Coaching Staff in 2022. He played collegiately at Graceland University (NAIA) where he was a standout point guard. Kris has a love for the game and teaching it to the younger generation.

Andy is an avid basketball enthusiast and current graduate student at the University of Kansas. He is a native of Hong Kong and joined the LTD Staff as an Assistant Coach in the Fall 2024. Andy has a great knowledge of the game and a unique way of helping kids learn the game.

Brian is a native of Overland Park, Kansas. He played at Shawnee Mission South HS and then went on ti play at University of Missouri-Kansas City (NCAA I). Brian began coaching with LTD in the Spring of 2024. He has a great knowledge of the game and enjoys teaching kids not only how to play, but also how to achieve their long-term goals.

Hakim played at Fort Osage High School and then went on to play semi-professional basketball for the Missouri Rhythm (ABA). He began his coaching journey with LTD in the Fall of 2021. Hakim is an intense coach that desires to see kids have fun with the game and to reach their full potential on and off the court.

Brandon joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Spring of 2023. He is a native of Kansas City, Missouri that played basketball at Raytown High School before continuing his playing career at Calvary University. After college, Brandon began pouring back into the youth as a coach. He enjoys seeing kids grow in their skills and character. He wants to see each player grow in faith, confidence and wisdom.

Kevin Logan joined the LTD Staff in 2020 as a Skill Development Instructor and LTD Youth Coach. Kevin is a native of Lawrence, Kansas and played college basketball at Kansas Wesleyan University (NAIA). Kevin desires to use his knowledge of the game to help young athletes achieve their full potential on and off the court.

BK joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Summer of 2022. BK played collegiately at Mid-America Nazarene University (NAIA) where he earned a degree in counseling. BK is a constant encourager and loves to see kids reach their full potential in every area of life.

Jackson joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Spring of 2023. Jackson played collegiately at Ottawa University (NAIA) where he also serves as an Assistant Men’s Coach. Jackson is a constant encourager and loves to see kids reach their full potential in every area of life.

Charles joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Fall of 2022. He is a native of Olathe, Kansas that played basketball at Olathe South High School before continuing his playing career at Clarkson University. After college, Charles continued to play and competed in LTD’s DREAM LEAGUE Summer Pro-Am for several years before deciding to coach with LTD. He is a great teacher of the game that enjoys seeing kids grow in their skills and character. He desires to see every kid put God first in their lives so they can become more impactful in their every day lives.

Eric is a native of Olathe, Kansas and played high school basketball at Olathe South. Eric was cut from the team his senior season, but then was offered a scholarship to play college basketball at Avila University (NAIA). As an overcomer of adversity, he loves to help kids understand their value as a player and as a person. He has a gift of teaching and making the game simple for younger athletes.

Eric joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Spring of 2024. He is a native of Overland Park, Kansas and played high school basketball at Shawnee Mission South. Eric is also a middle school teacher and coach. He loves being able to help athletes reach their full potential mentally, physically and spiritually

Justin Strickland joined the LTD Staff as a Youth Coach & Skill Development Instructor in 2014. Justin is a native of Kansas City, Kansas and was a collegiate standout at Culver-Stockton University (NAIA). Justin had the opportunity to compete on several International professional basketball tours following his college career. He has since devoted himself to ministry in the Urban core. Justin has 4 years of college Coaching experience at Kansas Christian College (NCCAA) with both the Men’s & Women’s teams. Justin brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and a passion for using sports to impact young lives for Jesus.

Anthony joined the LTD Coaching Staff in the Fall of 2023. He is a native of Olathe, Kansas that played basketball at Olathe Christian High School before continuing his playing career at Avila University. After college, Anthony continued to play and competed in LTD’s DREAM LEAGUE Summer Pro-Am for several years before deciding to coach and teach at Spring Hill High School (KS). He is a great teacher of the game that enjoys seeing kids grow in their skills and character. He desires to see every kid grow in their skills on the court and most importantly in their relationship with Christ off the court.

Chad is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was a standout player in high school. He began coaching basketball in 2013 and started coaching with LTD in 2018. Chad has a great knowledge of the game and loves to play a role in helping kids develop their skill and love for the game.

Antjuan is native of Kansas City, Kansas. He played college basketball at Kansas City Kansas Community College and Johnson County Community College. He began coaching with LTD in 2020 in the 3v3 League. He is a developer of young men and passionate about teaching them to reach their full potential by pursuing Jesus.
